Built as DS "Frank" and was a tugboat in the Oslo fjord until 2 February 1945, when it was hijacked by Milorg. Along with 11 other tug boats which were also hijacked, they were during the night led to Sweden where they were to the end of the war.


Sold in 1947 and transferred to Haldenvassdraget as timber dragers under the name Mette Meng. As the only steamer she was modernized and converted into diesel in 1963. "Metta" was in service until the timber floating stopped in 1983.
