Special built as timber drager for the Halden Canal. Built in parts that were shipped to Tistedal, where they were assembled and launched on Femsjøen.

 

Retired in 1926, later sold to private owner and later to Halden felles fløting. Nylands Workshop bought the boat in 1969 and dragged it later to Oslo.

 

Taken over by  DS "Engebret Soot"Foundation in 1987 and has since undergone extensive restoration. "Soot" is the world's oldest propeller steamboat still in operation. 

 

Was certified in 2015, and is possible to charter
